-American Foundation for Suicide Prevention provides many different resources to help prevent suicide.
-National Alliance on Mental Illness is the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.
-You Matter is a safe space online where youth can share stories through blogs about mental health and wellness. This was created by the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
-Mental Health First Aid is a course that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. These trainings are offered locally and nationally.
Colorado Resources:
-Mental Health Partners provides immediate access to expert mental health and substance use care for people in the Front Range area. They have a 24/7 crisis line: 1-844-493-TALK (8255).
-The Second Wind Fund provides Boulder/Denver area youth at-risk of suicide the mental health treatment that they need.
-The Hope Coalition of Boulder County provides support for depression awareness and suicide prevention.
